Our company has been an owned and operated business for over ten years. Our business has grown from one to five employees over the years, and we continue to grow.
Joie Johnson has been working as a transcriptionist for attorneys, authors, coaches, neighborhood associations, dissertation students and focus groups for over 10 years. She is a graduate of Pensacola Junior College where she graduated with honors in Office System Technologies with emphasis in Legal Secretary in 1996. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Theta Chi chapter, the International Honor Society for Two Year Colleges. Her GPA was 3.9 and was on the Dean's List.
Ms. Johnson received a full music scholarship in Music to the University of South Alabama in 1975, where she won Outstanding Freshman in Band Award, was a member of the Symphonic Band, Clarinet Quartet and Woodwind Quintet. She was Treasurer of Sigma Alpha Iota, the Professional Music Sorority for Women.
In her career as a musician, she won awards for excellence and outstanding achievement. She was a member of the orchestra for Joe Jefferson Playhouse and The Mobile Theatre Guild in Mobile, Alabama. At Murphy High School she was First Chair in the year of the Best Symphonic Band of 1974 in the symphonic band championship in Katwijk Aan Zee, The Netherlands. She was also in the Mobile Student Symphony Orchestra. In 1976, she was a member of the Bicentennial Marching 200 Band which was featured at the Senior Bowl and other events.
